2014 Texas Hill Country Rally

This year, as has become a tradition for some of us, our journey to Kerrville started on Thursday instead of the usual Friday start. Mac Juvenal and I left Dallas, and met up with Vince Wells and his Westside crew at Storm’s in Hamilton for our traditional burger and spicy curly fries. We hit Kerrville just after 3 PM, and got checked into our hotel shortly thereafter. Dinner was at Mamacita’s Mexican Restaurant, which has also become somewhat of a tradition. The food is excellent even by Dallas standards.

STAReview magazine (SRM): What prompted you to join the MSTA
and how long have you been a member?
Answer: I joined in 2011 at the Texas Hill Country Rally. Friends invited me to the rally, and MSTA membership was a side benefit. Over the years I found I liked the MSTA people and events in my region.
