I pulled up to the Sistersville ferry a few years ago...forget who I was riding with...as the ferry was pulling up to the ramp, the one operator waved us off and yelled..."the captain is sick, we're shutting down".  He no sooner said that when the captain came running out of the wheelhouse and heaved his guts out right in front of us!  Perfect timing.
