STAReview Copies?
« on: April 20, 2016, 09:09:07 am »
Is it possible to get extra copies of the STAReview mailed out to those that might want them?  I'd like to have some extra copies to place in motorcycle shops and to pass out at our lunch meets.

That's why I wanted the EC's info as I was going to ask to get some for my Big Lynn Lodge event. And to place at a few dealers where actual riders go.

Well I guess I have to ask myself too!

I was actually wondering if the Big Lynn Lodge could get a subscription to the STAReview? They do a lot for us and would leave them for guests to read about us.
What do you say Dennis?

I think you are on to something there, Brick!
Why not select a few places around the country with high volume touring riders (i.e. Two Wheels of Georgia, The Hub) and send them a complimentary subscription to StaReview for their lobby?
Cheap advertising for us!  -JEP-

Brick,
I'll get with Nicky to see how many extra copies are available. What would be the top ten sites?

I like this idea!

Just wondering if we have actual numbers on costs though?   Printing and postage per copy to do this?

Have a related question..
The emails we get announcing a new STAReview, I thought the used to contain a link to download the issue. They are no longer there, possibly because we all get hard copies in the mail again. I do like having and keeping the digital copies so I usually go to the site to find it and download. If we could the link in that email again it would be appreciated.

This should do it:

http://ridemsta.com/srblog/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/STAReview3502WEB.pdf

You have to go a roundabout way to get the URL, the link on the website opens from google drive.

Yeah, some (first 400 or so) the emails were different this last time. Not intentionally though. My mistake. I had the website resend all of them with the link to the page rather than directly to the pdf because we wanted people to see the correction there. It'll be fixed next time I hope.
