I'm sure I'm not the only person that's done this (well...maybe), but I took a look in Google Earth at the site of STAR 2017. I've attached a screen shot from the main entrance of the hotel, and it appears finding a convenient gas station won't be a problem. There are Conoco and Shell stations on either side of the main entrance to the Hotel Elegante. And it's right next to I-25, so getting in and out of town shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Thank you for both the report and the view of the Hotel for 2017. Shouldn't the report have been posted in STAR 2016? Oh well anyway... It looks like it will be very easy to get lost inside the Hotel Elegante!

I have already made our reservations.  PLEASE IF YOU CAN PRE ORDER TIRES from us for this event to make sure we have the tires you would want.  Thank you and looking forward to it.  Say nothing about the truck........shhh
