--- End quote --- I hear you Tosh. I'm just hoping to find it cheaper if I can. New is always more costly.
RichGrab:
Thanks Syd, Tosh, Quint and others for your offerings. As my brother Steve pointed out, the bike came with BMW mounting hardware for the bags, so that is why I'm looking for that first. I haven't looked at much others, and somehow don't think buying brackets plus bags from another source and then having to remove what's on the bike is a real savings. Plus, I really don't have the room for bike disassembly. But, will continue to search. I have to look at some of the forums more, as I read on one that several other models have same type of mounting for bags, so they should clip right on so to speak.
As for the BMW costs, hey I really can't complain. I never expected to be able to afford to purchase a BMW, but since it was basically free, I can afford the add-ons. And hey, Christmas is right around the corner friends - hint, hint. ;D

--- End quote --- More info on "Kathy's..... Bob's BMW" would be appreciated. Link, location anything, then I can search for them.

kathysjourneydesigns.com Theses bags have been around for many years. I had them for two BMW's. Well made, and they fit. Still use a set just for general luggage and hauling things around in the cars.

--- End quote --- Thanks Steve. Nothing on the site was F800 GT specific, but have a feeling others would work. Bag liners I'm finding many sources for - it's the darn hard case bags which are giving me fits. I really don't want to spend $1000 if I can avoid it. I know, I know, Bring More Wampum..............but I'm frugal by nature and necessity.
