Anyone know about the MSTA hats purchased at Vermont Star ?

Before I left the Vermont Star I purchased a MSTA hat and they were to be sent out. To date haven't heard anything about them and wondered if anyone knows when  the hats will be sent?

My guess is that a special order and shipping to the responsible person, then shipping to individual members would take several months.  It's barely been three weeks since STAR concluded.

Agree with Tosh's comments. Some on the EC are still traveling after STAR (retirement, don't you know) and very well could be a few months. Remember, they're all volunteers.

Yep I bought one as well, paid with a credit card (to Donna Villarose) at the banquet. When I talked to Dianne Park later she did say it would probably take some time, and I figured as much since they might want to give others (not at STAR) a chance to order, then make the purchase and send them out. And as Jim Park reminded me a few times at the end of STAR when Richard and I talked to him about pictures "We'll be on the road until August."

I'm not in a rush, and will do my best not to badger anybody about it

THE MSTA hats -- were dropped off to the embroiderer and should be ready this week.  I can add a post here once they are shipped - should be maybe another week or two until Dan has them. 

Anyone interested in purchasing a hat, (who has not already paid), make your request to Dan (see email above from ipnman) and send a check to Dan, made out to MSTA, for $23 - which includes shipping to you.

I agree. Like mine lots, but haven't worn it cause I don't want to ruin it yet. I guess I could order another one and then I'd have the spare.

For those of us that purchased one at STAR, any way we might confirm somebody does in fact have our name on the order list? I signed up on the paper in the lobby, then talked to Dianne Park during the banquet, and then paid Donna Villarose with a credit card.  I don't even recall if I was asked to provide a shipping address, or anything like that. I'd hate to find out after the order is completed that I wasn't on the list, and then I need to work with somebody to get my $23 back.

I know things were a bit hectic that night, and just want to make sure I'm in.

As for a picture, somebody else will need to do that, the key selling point to some of us on these was they fold up (the brim specifically). I think it just had the MSTA logo on front, not specific STAR 2016 stuff.
