I took the class, thought it was a blast, learned some new stuff to add to my past, and if I can remember the proper way to carve curves fast, I'll avoid any time spent in a cast.

There was an effort to establish a Total Control training site here in eastern Tennessee a few years ago, and I heard nothing but good things about it. I wasn't able to schedule a class myself, and I've been disappointed in that ever since. Alas, it seemed to last only a year or so, and then maybe the person doing it moved. I don't know. My feeling about motorcycle training in this area is that people think once they learn to do even basic stuff, they don't need any more training. Personally, I try to work in some sort of training for myself every year or two. I've been riding now for about 30 years doing a variety of back road riding, quick twisty road riding, gravel road riding, and so forth all the way up to 1k+ mile days long distance riding. I figure if I have room to improve, most other folks do too.

I have been doing classes in the Western N.C. and Nashville TN region since around 2008. I did not do any in 2016 in Nashville as the site I was using for several years is being developed and the MSF site I partnered with in 2015 is now also under construction. I have been offered the opportunity to be back in Nashville for 2017 with a new location and a new partner. I think Tigger will be helping with this new location as well.

About this class in Anderson...

I had the pleasure to see a few good riders who'd taken the MSF-BRC with me as one of the two RCs. Overall we had a great time, would it be only because the grip on an active runway is perfect rain or shine (and it was shining).
It was amazing to see the difference between before and after practicing the techniques. For my classes going forward, I will have the GoPro running to be able to show it to the riders as well.

I plan on scheduling both Level 1 and Level 2 in Anderson in 2017. I already have a wait list for the next Level 1.

Cheers!
