Congrats on on the FJ9  Dave.  I'm still getting mine dialed in.  Hope your recovery is going well. I saw your post on the FJ9 forum about suspension upgrade. I'm thinking about doing some suspension work to my bike so I can keep up with y'all.  I have a Busa rear shock to go on first looks like it will be a tight fit.

Funny, your comment on the Busa shock - I was thinking the same thing. 2 radically different bikes, not sure it would just swap over. but who knows.

It's all there.     The Hayabusa rear shock has a fat man spring 733.lb/inch.  From reading the FZ-09 and FJ-09 forums it will fit with a little plastic shield cutting.  I've yet to install it.  I'll also install some fat man fork springs and  a Stohl tech piston kit. I'm trying to save a little money and set the bike up to my weight.     David  in Powhatan Va.

There's a local NC dealer that has a new 2016 FJ09 for $8999. Called them and it's about $9500 out the door.  I will not be ready to buy a sport touring bike until the end of 2017, but want a FJ09 when I buy one, unless the FJ07 is available..

Great choice. I really like mine. However I would recommend saving for suspension upgrades. Mine really needed it.
