I bought one 8500 from Criagslist for $100 and another for $150.  The 1st was from a girl and the other with the original box.  I suppose you never know but they didn't seem like the thieving types.

I purchased a Valentine V1 used on ADVrider a few years ago for $250 with the concealed display and have been very pleased with its performance. I don't travel without it in the car. I have yet to use it on the any of the bikes.
