1999 SV650... considering letting it go...
« on: February 20, 2017, 10:38:14 am »
I purchased a 1999 SV650 standard model not the "S" model in about 2004 (I have exact info on the bike in its folder in the MC garage) from Jim and Ginny LaPoint.
It's really been an excellent bike with no problems at all. I think around 65,000 miles... the gauges died and it took me about 6 months to find a good working set so I would need to figure it out to be exact. Just last year I had the forks reworked by Cogent Dynamics.
I just don't find myself riding it much. When I go down for a ride I either select either the Super Tenere or the FJ-09.
I don't want to give it away and a number of you over the years have said, "if you ever want to sell your SV650... let me know". So this is notice. I'm considering selling the SV.
Let me know if you are one of those who has wanted this SV.
Jim and Ginny LaPoint here is your chance to get it back.
