Yikes Brick!  I'm sorry to hear this!
Tosh & I are trailering the bikes....want us to come pick you up?  There's plenty of room for you on the trailer! ;)

Seriously, I'm sad you can't make it out there, and I hope you heal well and soon.

Debbie
Now that's funny. I could see Brick sitting aboard one of the bikes on the trailer. Heck, that would almost be like riding.  ;D

He also said he had two more stints put in.

They put in two stints. .. And a second stint.

I'll let touringman slide as he was just quoting....but Brick...a stint is something you do for a period of time, such as a stint volunteering at Star.
A stent is something that they put in veins or ureters to hold them open. Dude, eat some celery or carrots or red wine or something will ya? Please?

Joking and silly corrections aside,...

..... I wish you a speedy recovery brick and I'm glad you are alive,  recovering, and your bike isn't doesn't appear too bad off. Keep us in the loop please.

Well, you could say Brick has done two stints in the hospital for his heart. That would work!

Get well quick, Brick!

Cutting down on your intake of red meat wouldn't hurt.  :-)

Boy this has not been a good week. First Nicky and now this episode with Brick. I mention these together to say that the 2 may be loved and admired in the same measure. We morn the loss of great champion and human being and can't stand to see this happen to another young hero.
Mr. Brick, you are one of our heroes in the MSTA, you may be one of the most loved and admired members of the HSTA/MSTA of all time but let's not go there. The point is we want you around 'til you are as old as Don Clark and just as spunky. So please take care of yourself and mend quickly. Motorcycling riding is a fantastic therapy but that might have to wait 'til you're on the mend a little further. No, STAR for me either this year but that's another story. So, maybe we'll cross paths somewhere " a little further down the road". (look that song up on youtube, Joe Bonamassa & Eric Clapton)

Not to be brash and correct but the Clapton/Bonamassa is "further on up the road"....  only know from playing the older blues tune....  but the sentiment is definitely there from all of us...

Can I get pass for paraphrasing? It's hard to think right when when my foot is tapping very hard and the air guitar is screaming!! Did you look it up on youtube? That's a rocker for sure. But I digress ..............Mr. Brick how are you doing this week?? How things are on the mend.  TM

Tom, Each day is a little better. They set my broken metacarpals #4 & 5 left hand on Thursday. That was excruciating! Yesterday I got an MRI of my left knee. May have tendon or ligament torn. Lots of black and blue!

Bike is not too bad so I hear.

That's not too bad of a report though no cake walk, but everything is relative. Glad you are on the mend. It could have been so much worse.
Hang in there, give Ms P, Lojie and that other critter a big hug from me.  TM

I got my left hand 5th metacarpal cast off 2 1/2 weeks ago, exercised my hand for a few days, and then started riding. The cast was on for 4 1/2 weeks. Here's you wishing a recovery at least as fast or faster!

You can definitely get a pass and an A+ for actually knowing who Bonamassa is!

Only the badest ass guitar slinger in the land, I have 10+ of his CD's. But this thread was about Brick, not Joe.  :^)  TM
