New to MSTA

Hey everyone! Just joined the MSTA. Looking forward to meeting many new friends. Just relocating from the DFW area to North West Arkansas area. Love riding in this area and now I get to do a lot more of it. I have been on the ride committees for the LoneStar Riders and the LoneStar BMW club in North Texas. You’ve relocated to a great riding area.  We have a couple of regional events in Arkansas every year that are very popular with the members.  We had our National in Springfield, Arkansas a couple of years ago.  I look forward to seeing you at an event sometime in the future and to your contributions to the club.  Thanks for joining.

Welcome to the club.  I get to Arkansas two or three times a year; great roads.  If you're free for daytime rides, our ROMEO (Retired Old Motorcyclists Eating Out) group has a chapter in north central Arkansas.  (http://www.romeoriders.com/forums/)  Tell Leo that Roger, from Wichita, sent you.

Welcome to the club Jerry and Jamie! I hope you get as much enjoyment out of it as I do! I see in your first photo that your helmet has the Tri-Skelion on it, are you a fan of the IOM TT?

A few of us were able to pull that off two years ago.  We went to the “classic” event that occurs in late August. I believe that it would be possible for someone to visit the IOM for the event fairly cheaply if it was pared down to the bare essentials.  There is no cost to view the races from most vantage points.  The classic event is less crowded than the big event earlier in the year.  Transporting a vehicle over to the island really increases the cost to get there and accomidations can really vary depending on where you stay and what kind of accomidations you use.  It’s well worth going and I hope to return someday.
