2018 Kentucky Rally (of Historical Proportions)
« on: July 10, 2018, 08:22:25 pm »
We had 33 current members and guests join 2 NEW members for an excellent weekend of riding in east central Kentucky.  The weather caught a few people on the road Friday with some torrential downpours as a cool front came through in the afternoon.  However, thst same front brought much lower temps and humidity levels for Saturday and Sunday, along with abundant sunshine.  Don Ciconni was on hand to conduct demo rides for Motus of NKY and many members took advantage of this to check the bikes out.  A photo scavenger hunt was part of the festivities, with Geoffrey Greene taking home top honors.  Others took the opportunity to ride the eastern Kentucky mountains.  The Hillbilly Triangle Route getting lots of praise from those that went that way.  Others took routes of their own choosing, but everyone seemed to enjoy whatever roads they sampled.  We will do it again next year for sure!

Were the routes available as a gpx file?
