Hello from GA | New FJR1300 Rider

Hello all,
After a long hiatus, I recently started riding last year. Glad to be back in the saddle. When I came out of riding-exile, I thought Cruisers would be ideal. As in laidback, slow, easy. Which is why I jumped on a good deal on a 2011 Triumph Speedmaster. But I soon got on the boards and groups leading towards long distance riding. A few long rides and I knew cruisers are not for me. I needed to make the switch. From the forums, boards and inputs from LD riders, FJR was a no-brainer.

A 2009 FJR1300AE was delivered to my stable earlier this week with all of 1620 miles done so far! Time to notch up the miles.

Nice bike with many fans here.  Also a very popular area for riding.  Sounds like a winning combo.
Hope you can make some of the many events we have in the area of No. Ga and the Carolina of Tn. areas.
