PYG RYDR:
We are returning to the Shenandoah Valley and The Village Inn for the 2020 Shenandoah Spring Romp. This Virginia location has excellent dual sport mountain trails and awesome twisty street roads! Our event dates are set for Thursday, April 23-Sunday, April 26.

PYG RYDR:
Shenandoah Spring Romp—April 2020. It’s time to make the call. Yesterday, the Virginia Governor shut down all Unessential Activities in Virginia. And I know we are all ready to get out and ride, but our motorcycle riding is an unessential activity. The safety and health of our riders is essential, so we are cancelling the 2020 Shenandoah Spring Romp. I called the Village Inn (1-540-434-7355) and cancelled my reservation. The cancellation was easy and they understand. Regards, Galen Diehl

Yes even going out for a short ride in the neighborhood seems unessential activity at this point. I know many of us use riding as a way to help our mental health, and if you're dealing with lots of change in life now (work from home, kids at home, out of work, etc) then its something you need.
But consider this, if something happens and you need medical attention you're putting yourself at risk, and adding to the strain on the medical facilities. I thought maybe I was the only one thinking way, until I talked to another member recently.

I hate to see it come to this, but it is what is necessary. We'll get through this separately. :^) TM
Tom S:
Since they say you can still walk and ride bicycles to get fresh air, several of us were planning on getting together for a dirt ride on Friday to beat the coming rain on Saturday. However, I didn't think of what the possibility of getting injured would add to the hospital strain.
