Camping near Lewisburg?
wengland:
I see there are several RV campgrounds on the SW side of town and a few others NW of town. If I can't scrape up the room fare, I can camp easily.
Question: What campground around Rally HQ is most suited to motorcycle tent campters? (no all night generator, no 5 miles of 'rut-roh!' sand, mud or gravel to get to them.)
Thanks in advance for you tips and hints!

Will, you may want to PM (or email) Syd Meyers who is the event coordinator, as he's been doing this for some years and may have more detailed info. He's likely on his way (or at) the Mail Pouch Fly By Week now. His email is touringman5@gmail.com
Planning on attending and hope to make your acquaintance.

Rich - close but not exactly. It's Sid Mayes and if he's at the Fly-By, I'll ask him about a camping spot close to the host hotel and relay his answer to Will. ;D

Well according to his profile on this site and his info in the blue book his name is Syd Mayes. So you were both wrong ;)
