2021 Shenandoah Spring Romp
phreakingeek:
New MSTA member here and happy to see an event in my favorite riding area. Been riding in that area for about 20 years (including almost 20 WATR Shenandoah 500 events). Is this primarily a big bike event or dualsport event?
Looking forward to meeting some MSTA folks.

2 rider groups primarily.
Previous years ~20-25 dual sport riders, and 10-15 street riders.
PYG RYDR:
We are returning to the Shenandoah Valley for the 2021 Shenandoah Spring Romp.
This Virginia location has excellent dual sport mountain trails and awesome twisty street roads!
Our event dates are set for Thursday, April 8-Sunday, April 11.
This year many of us are camping at the Downy Meadow Campground, 71 Shulls Lane, Mount Solon, VA 22843.
Facebook “Downy Meadow RV Campground”. https://tinyurl.com/y2fg32pp Bring your Camper, RV, Utility Trailer, Van, Pick-up or Tent. Downy Meadow RV Campground is mostly flat and grassy, with electric, water, and dump station. Clean shower and bathroom. Suggest bringing your own food, as no restaurant is on site. To make a reservation call Eric or Danielle Showalter @ 540-820-3605 or 540-830-2670, $15 per person per night-CASH
UPDATE 2/2/21-The Village Inn is now booked! There is an event at the fairgrounds next door and the Village Inn is no longer a lodging option. Sorry!
If you are not a camper, there are many lodging and dining options available here https://tinyurl.com/3xrjpa7r
Note-there will not be an official lodge this year, as the official rider gathering location is the Downy Meadow RV Campground-details listed above.
GPS routes/tracks available April 1.

Patmo:
Galen....someone wants to know if the routes will be suitable for their KTM 890R or would it be better to bring their 350 XCF-W?

If riding dual sport, a street legal 350 would be better.
