« on: May 20, 2014, 06:50:35 pm »
Yippie! I had forgotten that I had sent my receipt in for my helmet that I bought! Yesterday I received a check for $100 from the Dan Clark Safety Program!
Excellent! This club is wonderful!
Everybody needs to remember to send there receipts in. This is a super program!

Me too  :) not quite that much only 72 and some change but still money that I can use to go to STAR with.
Guess they decided it was one less thing to deal with at STAR and I don't have to keep track of it till I get home now.

I'll third the big thanks for this program and Ken Murray. I was totally surprised to get a check in the mail the other day. It really made my day like a birthday (Only I didn't get any older)  :)
Thanks again,
Rick

All I got was a rock  ;D
I think the decision to send them in the mail instead of doing them at STAR was a good idea. I know one year I got one I missed the meeting at STAR where they were handed out (forget why, think we got back late and went straight to dinner). Then I tried to find the right person to get my check, before they mailed it. Costs a little to mail them and some extra time is involved. Thanks to the volunteers for their efforts.

Re: mailing the checks... It's not a secret JoAnna had a stroke. She and Ken are in Fla near a place where she gets great therapy.

I too received a check and suspected that the Murrays would probably skip STAR this year because of her therapy.  My best wishes to her for a speedy and full recovery.

I got my check too!  I'm proud to belong to a group that offers a little something to encourage safe riding. Me so happy!
