FlyBy 2022
« on: August 24, 2022, 06:23:02 am »
A guy walking out of a Harley shop with an arm load of t-shirts and other gear was asked if he was going somewhere. He replied "No...just getting ready."

I AM getting ready to head to Marietta on the morrow for FlyBy 2022. It's going to be fun!

I had a great time this year, rode with some of my local group who I don't ride with often these days, enjoyed lots of good food and great roads and mostly dry weather.

The new venue is very nice, I think it fits us very well, better than many of the prior venues. The only downside was a limited number of dining options within walking distance. The trolley dinner tours helped with that most of the week and I enjoyed my first time doing something like that in Marietta.

That makes something like 23 straight MPFB events for me (since shortly after joining the then HSTA in 2000).

Awesome, Brick. But I think you ought to get out a little more, LOL.  Thanks for sharing.  TM

Home safe Sunday after a long 842 mile day of mostly slabs. My second MSTA event and it was one of the best ever! Thanks to Ron, John, and Steve whom I met Monday and took great care of me and hope to call new friends.

Hi 60Aviator,
That’s a bunch of miles in one day. Could you tell us your name and where you live? Heck it would be great to put a face with a new poster too.
BTW: Welcome! I’m glad you had a good time.

I am so sorry about that. Borre...got it. I looked over on the info screen and then went back to enter my reply. Then my fingers apparently did more walking than my brain.

But you tried. Every member on the forum has a profile, you can view that by clicking on the name, well at least on a PC that's how I do it, not sure about a mobile device or with Tapatalk.

Maybe I'll see Charles or Tim at FCR. (If Tim isn't Charles middle name there's got to be a good story there.)
