Next weekend is the Fall on TWO Wheels in Suches, GA. The last time I went to a JFF event at TWO, there was a threat of crazy rainstorms as the result of a hurricane blowing through. As I recall, pretty much everyone headed for parts elsewhere asap. I think I spent one night after a prediction of the rains not arriving until mid-weekend.
This year, the weather looks to be MUCH better. Right now the forecast is for lows around 40 and highs in the mid-60s. That's not bad at all. Oh yeah, and the probability of rain is in the single digits with plenty of sunshine.
The rest of the story is that I'm scheduled to do a Rider Ed class this Saturday, so I won't make it. But for you hardy souls that pitch a tent, less hardy souls that have a cabin reserved, or those less interested in roughing it at all with a room in the lodge, here's wishing you a great weekend. It should be fun!
