When I was still employed, I found it pretty easy to schedule stuff. I only had so many days off (not nearly enough), so it was critical and relatively easy to plan single days off for 3 day event weekends.
Now that I'm retired, I'm pretty amazed at how hard it is to schedule time away from home. Of course, now, instead of one day, I'd rather have a 5 day weekend. That does require a bit more scheduling with the young lady.
