Hello all fellow MSTA'ers! New to joining, but not that new to the group. I know and have ridden with several club members over the years. Now that I am retired, I have more free time to travel to a few of the rallies, so I decided to join and give this group a try. I am not new to clubs or club / group style riding. I've followed some great road knowledgeable riders and led group rides.

I am looking forward to more rides and meeting fellow MSTA'ers in the future! My first outing is going to be TwiStar in Sparta, NC Memorial Day weekend. I am going to meet a longtime friend and riding partner there who has also joined the ranks of MSTA! Looking forward to future events!

Welcome from SW Ohio. What the heck took you so long???  I've attended many rallies over the years and I'm still workin'.  (Maybe not for long I hope) There's a lot of fun under the bridge but better late than never. Got any kids that ride?? Bring them too.

A couple of observations...you referenced group rides. We tend to ride mostly in pretty small groups. It might feel like you're just out with a friend or two for the day...but for several consecutive days. And then back at the lodging, there'll be a bunch of other folks that are doing the same thing.
I'lll see you in Sparta at TriSTAR (easy access to North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee). We also have a TwiSTAR but it's in Wisconsin in June.
