I had a 2002 Honda ST1100, same color. Sold it a bought a 2022 Vanderhall Venice. Wish we would have kept the ST1100, as it was great on the WI Driftless road. But, for two of us riding, it was getting a little top heavy, or is that because of the age. Not the bike's, but my age.
Still have a 1986 Honda Gold Wing Interceptor, which has a much lower center of gravity.
And, a fun little 1986 Honda VF500F Interceptor that only gets taken out about twice per year for a short ride.
If riding only by myself, I liked the ST1100 the best of all bikes that I have ridden through the years. And, when I was a Service Manager at Mankato Honda, for cycles, autos and power equipment I was able to ride many different models and brands. The CBX 6 cyl was fun, but not fun enough to ride on any trips. That was about as crazy as the Honda 350 4cyl that Denise bought used. Nice lady's bike, until I put a 400 kit into it with a Hooker Header and then needed HD clutch springs. Could not hold the front end down and it would beat Honda 750's and Kawa 750 2 strokes.
