It's the standard model
To answer some of the questions that been asked. We decided to go with a Sport Touring bike next year(2014 FJR 1300), first time since 2008. Some reasons why:
1. New central location-high attendance 450-500-high number of raffle tickets sold
2. Money saved from not mailing and printing tickets-on average over $2,000(at the old ticket price of $5 we had to sell 400 tickets just to pay for that expense. Now that money can go to raffling a premium sport touring bike.
3. By buying raffle tickets at $8 or $10, you get a chance to win a great bike, and you support your club.
4. Past years numbers:
2012 2013 2014
Bike rev-$14,800 Bike rev-$15,500 Bike rev-$13,500
P&H-$1,850 P&H-$2,052 P&H-$2,200
Net Inc-$3,175 Net Inc-$5,611 Bike rev-$3,500
I hope this gives all members an insight on why the EC went in this direction.
