I don't think other members that are logged in can see your real name in your profile. At least I just clicked on your username and it does not provide that information.
That's correct. The real name field is only visible to an admin and only used for upgrading to MSTA member access to the forum. This field can however, be toggled to public for all to see. While some members are ok with it set to public, many may not be, so I took the safe route and kept the field private. If most are ok with the real name field being public, I have no issue changing it. I'll set up a poll to get some results.
