Title: More GPS woes
Post by: Iguana Joe on June 12, 2015, 11:53:17 AM
 8)  Howdy all,

I have a really stupid thing going on here, but spent so much time with triSTAR stuff I have neglected getting ready for STAR. I was just trying to be proactive and download routes before going to Arkansas, then I realized I cannot get there. It asks me for a password. I have tried my password ( as far as I can remember it) to no avail. If anyone can ping me with more info I would appreciate i.

Thanks,

Iggy Joe

A password? Since when have GPS routes required a password? Is this only for STAR? Is it new (I don't remember it the other years, but could just be my old brain don't work as well.)

What if an MSTA member not attending wants these routes to use later on their own trip to that location?

Just curious really, not attending STAR this year and did make a note to go download the routes and save in case I ever head down to AR.
Never mind, I see the other thread discussing this new feature or way of providing GPS files.

Well, I guess the routes are public now... ;)

Sorry if I ruined the process.  Trying to be helpful; I missed this post was not in Members Only.

Maybe post a new password in Members Only section?

Back to my corner...

I got them with only my forum access (under another heading).
