Title: Thanks
Post by: GlibGuy on June 25, 2022, 12:57:19 PM
Kudos to President Pat and his team along with all volunteers who helped with STAR ‘’22.  I also thought the staff/employees at the hotel went “above and beyond”.
Cape Girardeau folks friendly and nice too.

With all the Covid talk take over the conversations, I think we need to say thanks to all who made STAR a success and for those that thought MO was not a good spot, you missed it!!!  We had a great time at a very good location, and yes, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The riding was awesome and had good destinations to ride to. If ya didn't have a good time it was your fault.  Looking forward to next year. Thanks to all.

I had a great time. The roads were great, it was so nice to reconnect with friends I hadn't seen for years, and the hotel was one of the best we've ever had. Many thanks to all the volunteers who made this happen, and made it such  an enjoyable event!

I agree that this was a wonderful STAR, with an outstanding hotel and staff. Thank you to Pat and the rest of the EC for all they did to offer this event to us. I also am glad that members got to experience many of the twisty, lightly travelled Ozark roads that I have enjoyed for years, many of which were part of the FOF events. Two things that were out of the hands of the EC were the heat and a taste of Covid that a few of us got, but it was still one of the best STAR's that I can recall.

Great STAR! The roads were great, the weather stayed dry (just a little on the warm side), and the event venue was fantastic.
