Kawasaki, Honda, Ducati, Moto Guzzi
-
Previously owned Honda (6), Moto Guzzi (4), Cagiva, Norton (2). Impressed with %Triumphs so far. On my list for future. In my old age, also looking at Victory Boardwalk, though have to raise the seat a few inches.

How do I add a second Honda?? TM

The system is not capable of that. Sometime in the future I may add another poll for make and model of bike.

You left out Daelim, but then I'm probably the only one here.
Please note I take up considerably more room than this young rider:

Exclusively Honda at this time.

I also have a Piaggio (owner of AprilIa, Moto Guzzi, etc.) BV500 scooter. ;D

And hopefully you wear a little more gear than she does too ;)

Frankly Steve, I believe she's wearing TOO MUCH gear! :P

I have to agree
-
Quint/Jon you're both too funny. I doubt you'd say that if it was your lady :) In fact I've seen both of them riding and wearing full gear.
PS She is cute but I'd hate to see what she looks like if she slides a couple hundred feet.
-
Honda, Kawasaki, Harley, and another Honda. Thinking about adding a Ducati Scrambler...
-
One Honda, One Suzuki. Would love a Moto Guzzi, but dealer network is terrible. May look at Ducati.
-
Yamaha FZ 6 R
-
Three Yamaha street bikes, two Yamaha dirt bikes and a Suzuki dual sport.

There are also many MSTA members who are not on the forum, not active on the forum, or who may just have not bothered to post. There's a local member in NE Ohio that has a nice black touring model with hard bags (forget the model name). They are certainly not very common in MSTA, far more KTM and Aprilias let alone the more popular BMW, Ducati and Triumph as well as all Japanese brands, even Harleys.

Sure but wouldn't pictures be much better?
I used to have all 3 of my bikes in the garage area with lots of cool pictures, I think one of our server migrations/crashes lost all of that.

Yeah, OK I guess we can go with pictures instead of pichers. ;)

Do you still have the Trail 90?
It was my first bike when I was 14 years old my dad got it for my birthday.
I loved that bike and new every dirt road in our section of the county.
Also had 1000 acres to play :)
-
Do you still have the Trail 90?
Yes I do. It's not original like the one that your father got you. It has been modded with a 125cc Lifan (Honda clone) engine with 12V electrics instead of 6V and it does not have the high/low lever (under drive aka trail gearing) or the centrifugal clutch that you are familiar with from your youth. It's just a 4 speed now with a manual clutch and toe shifter. Still a very viable bike today for many.

1964 Bridgestone 60 Sport, 1974 Suzuki RL 250 vintage trials , 1979 KTM 400, 2003 Honda XR 100 R motard racer, 2014 Honda CB 500 X
The Bridgestone is for the Moto Giro in April 2016, the trials is just fun, the KTM is a bad boy and my Honda just gets me anywhere I want to go without drama and great gas mileage!
My XR 100 R I use for mini racing in the Ohio Mini Road Racing League which starts up April 24th at Circleville.

Just picked up a low mileage 2011 Vstrom 650.

Honda still #1, after all this used to be the Honda Sport Touring Association. I recall some guys ribbed me about needing to buy a Honda after joining on a Suzuki. I'm on my 3rd Honda now (1 Suz, 1 Triumph, 1 Kaw).
-
I just updated my votes. 1 Yam, 1 Suz & 1 BMW. Over the years I have Owned 2 Kawasakis, 2 BMWs, 2 Hondas, 2 Suzukis and 2 Yamahas

I just updated mine too. Currently 1 Yamaha and 1 Triumph; lifetime 1 Suzuki, 1 Kawasaki, 2 Yamaha, 3 Triumph, 5 Honda.

Well my bike ownership has changed since I last entered my bikes on this list. June 9th of 2020 I traded in my 2014 Yamaha Super Tenere' ES on a 2020 BMW R1250GS. This is the first BMW I have ever owned and well I'm really enjoying this bike so far. I got a ride in on Monday 12/21/20 the Winter Solstice and now the bike has 13,986 miles. Hmmm... Almost all of those miles were put on here locally in the Western NC, Eastern TN and Western VA. I did 1 over night in West Virginia. I've ridden other older BMW boxers and really didn't like them. This new 1250 motor is very good and it has lots of electronic gagets. ;)
I still have my 1999 Suzuki SV650 that I bought from Jim and Ginny LaPoint in 2004 but I certainly don't ride it much. I keep thinking I should sell it... ?

You might want to do Superbike school on the SV. The GS is a great bike, I am sure but ...

Wait you no good bum!! You put 14k on a bike in 6 months??? Oh good grief Charlie Brown I'm envious !!!
Ride safe, ride well old friend. TM Merry Christmas and Happy all the other Holidays to ALL.

Hi Bob. No I want to do it on the bike I ride most. I just don’t ride the SV much any more. I’m not doing the school to be a racer and go faster I just want to improve my riding. If I get a little faster in the process... ok.

P.S. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Hi Tom,
You know it’s funny I didn’t go out with the intent to put 14,000 miles on in 6 months... it just happened! First of all I really enjoy this 2020 BMW R1250GS. It’s unlike any BMW I ever rode before. It’s not nearly as agricultural. The 1250 shift cam engine seems to always be in the right place on the power curve. So it’s a hoot!
Additionally a friend started a forum to assist in getting rides together the Carolina Old Farts Sport Touring Association. And we’ve gathered a great group of riders. During the week us retired guys ride. Then on the weekend the working stiffs in the group want to ride. So I ended up riding a lot. Believe me it did nor suck!
The SENA intercom with the mesh function makes riding more fun and I believe actually safer.
Additionally it doesn’t hurt that we have some pretty darn good roads down here in Western North Carolina.
Have a Very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

My first bike was a '72 CL450, just like this one:
(https://ridemsta.com/mstaforums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cb450stuff.com%2Fauctionhistory%2Fauction_images%2F2006-03-01_73%2Fae_3.JPG&hash=adb02655048a6dbc339af1107fac7096a31e094f)
Then, I got a '73 CB750, in brown, like this one:
(https://ridemsta.com/mstaforums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fhonda750expert.com%2Fbrown%25201973%2520Honda%2520750.jpg&hash=8ed9717a2651d46560d837f2d670d03d24b60116)
My third bike was an '82 CB750SC aka the Nighthawk:
I had added a Vetter Rooster, like the one below, to the '82:
(https://ridemsta.com/mstaforums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.vetterowners.com%2Fattachments%2Fhpim1113-jpg.475%2F&hash=c03cfabc1492ee98fed482aa4b289fbf4a961d09)
The pic above is another Rooster on my '96 Nighthawk 750 which
I since turned into a sport-tourer with a Vetter Windjammer 5
and K&G Engineering luggage/backrest, all from the early '80s:
(https://ridemsta.com/mstaforums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.vetterowners.com%2Fattachments%2F150801_010-jpg.1727%2F&hash=866e04d9206e87e324a6460e9eb63f2ad39f6f7e)
I still have that Nighthawk, as well as my '01 ST1100:
So, the answer to the question is Honda and Honda.
