Title: Chip and Seal Road Work - PigTrail
Post by: Neirbog on July 02, 2019, 05:00:33 PM
We have been advised that the road crews are repaving the PigTrail (Highway 23 South to Ozark, AR).
They are laying chip and seal on the road.

There will be delays while the work is completed as it is a two lane road.
Then the surface will be loose gravel while it settles.

Better to find another route if you are traveling by motorcycle.  There are plenty of good alternatives, one is my favorite - 103.

Gayla,

There doesn't seem to be the activity on the boards from some people (like me)....  I'm trying to be more active this year and also post more...  Hope to see you and Bill on the road!

Hey Everyone,  Sign up for the Ozark Great Escape, Eureka Springs, AR in April.  The Chip and Seal mentioned in the above posting will be dry by then.
Even if the snow is not melted in Minnesota by then, we still plan to be there.
