Funny how whenever Garmin adds a new feature to a unit it loses one or more that you miss.
After 3 years I have gotten used to my 390 but still not sure I understand how it calculates a route. I do like the tire pressure monitor.

Unless you're still single ;)

Favorite garage item, well the half that is open to park bikes for starters :)  but honestly just having the space, room to work on them and still get my car inside. The air compressor is nice too.

VFR - after market voltage meter, a must after my R/R failure
Sprint - after market seat, great comfort
Ninja - hard top case, my first bike with a hard bag and now every bike I own has one.

Well, I can't complain but I can't compete either. Over stuffed with junk garage that DOES have 4 motorcycles in one side. Still dreaming of a smaller house, smaller yard (but gotta have space for our new dog) and a bigger garage.

Bike: A tie between my ancient MC Cruise on the ST and a Staintune slip-on on the VFR.

Garage: No-Mar tire changer (still need some lessons from Susan, lol) and an air compressor.

Brick and Ms. P.......... remind me to send you pics of the dog, Tesla.

That Staintune sure sounds sweet on the VFR. I've got one on my 2001 model.

Bike:  Hmmmm, never really thought of farkles in terms of a favorite, but since I always add luggage right away to a new bike, I guess that would be it. So for my current ride, that's my Givi E-22 panniers and Givi V-47 top case, all on SW-Motech racks/mounts.

Garage:  Favorite bike-related item....may be my Motion Pro chain slack adjuster.  https://www.motionpro.com/product/08-0674

Beadrider seat covers. Can't enjoy touring very much when one's butt goes to sleep and gets hot and swampy

I've got them for both bikes, my office chair and my car seat.

It is now the MC Cruise electronic cruise control that I installed on the 2015 FJ09.  So nice in town and on long straight roads.

I also love the K-Tech suspension, Sargent seat and locking hard luggage.
Least favorite = Yamaha heated grips.  They burn the right hand on the middle setting and barely do anything for the left.  They should have figured this out.  I've had heated grips on three other bikes (2 BMW's and an aftermarket set) without this happening.

I wonder if yours are defective. The factory heated grips on my S10 work very well, and evenly.

Well, we are somewhat flexible on the rules, I just wanted to avoid everybody laying out a long boring list of farkles...I mean we all have them (the List)
but when you are able to nail down your favorites, it becomes more useful to others that may have never considered that farkle nor even known
of it's existence.  I sometimes think of my self-installed Rostra cruise control as my favorite farkle on a trip, but then it is only really useful because
my rear end isn't sore because of my AirHawk seat cushion. Thus my original post still stands the AirHawk seat cushion is still my favorite farkle.

However Larry F, you may be more fickle, so if your favorite changes next month please let us know here, both what and why. OK?

Not fickle, just thorough.  ;)
