Well it turns out that the official count of bikes at Helen this year is 36 bikes.
Great turnout. The weather was fantastic this year!

It would have been near impossible to have better weather, a better time, or better friends attending. I just got home about 30 minutes ago after following one of the adventure routes that came from Helen towards Tellico Plains, TN. From there I still managed to stretch the remaining 71 mile distance to nearly 125 after lunch at T.P.

Great Big thanks to Andray for all he did for our event. He also hooked me up for a room Thursday night. It was great to see everyone and catch up. Great riding too and the best weather EVER for such an event. I'm terrible with names and faces until I get a little time in for familiarity so don't anyone take offense, none intended. I met some great new folks (to me) and enthusiasm is still running ramped.
Thanks to everyone for a great weekend. Ride safe, see ya soon.   TM

Great weekend! I rode home from Helen with Doug Pippin who had us riding some new to me roads that Doug wanted to ride thinking he can add to a route for future events.
Here is the first and second half of that ride. It’s in two parts because some how at are our stop in Franklin I turned off the app and had to restart it for the rest of the ride home.

That Doug P is ALWAYS thinking "route". Like in some other endeavors, about the time you start thinking you're pretty good at it, and then along comes someone like Doug....and he flat puts you to shame.
