How to connect?

Easy... screw on the two valve stem caps, plug in the base unit, and TaDa... pressure readings... (sent from caps to base unit via RF signal of some sort)

Don't used with normal (rubber valve stems).

Curious why? Can this extra weight tear them apart?
I had an issue once, longer valve stem than normal + aftermarket larger valve cap = hitting something, and eventually tearing valve stem at base causing a flat.
