Title: Parking a pick up and trailer
Post by: FJR Pilot on July 03, 2023, 09:09:48 PM
I'm planning a road trip in mid September, and since I don't have lots of time, I need to trailer the bike to NE New Mexico or SE Colorado. Besides a KOA, does anyone know of a safe (and reasonably priced) place to park a truck for about 10 days?

I parked my trailer at the Denver airport for a week once.   They gave me a special set of tickets that allowed me to leave and re-enter without paying for 2 vehicles.  Another airport might do the same.

If you are spending a night or two at a hotel in that area they may allow you to park it there overnight. That is what I've done several times, usually in conjunction with a STAR out west. We'd be there for 4 nights, leave the vehicle & trailer for a week or so and then come back for another night. They may have a special request on where to park, and ask for emergency contact info.
