Hello from Northeast Oklahoma
« on: December 31, 2014, 06:23:20 PM »
I am on my 15th bike, a 2002 Honda ST1100 I purchased earlier this year with just under 11,000 miles.  After fluid changes, etc. I am ready to do some riding.  I grew up on bikes similar to this but spent a few years on cruisers, a Goldwing when my wife could ride with me, and now I am back to what I really enjoy.

Hello from Central Oklahoma.  At least you live up close to the good roads.  There are a few others up in the Tulsa area.
We'll have a few rallies in Arkansas and Missouri coming up this year and our national rally is in Springdale, Arkansas in late June.
You do not want to miss these as they are a great group of people and a lot of great roads.

You are right about the good riding here.  I ride NW and N Central AR quite a bit.  But I also enjoy riding CO, TN, NC, MO, GA etc.  SE Oklahoma is nice too.  Except for AR, getting to the great riding areas takes some time.  I went to Southern LA and TX last Spring and it was an interesting trip, just not many twisties and more traffic than I like.  Alligator rode kill...now that was a first!
