NinjaBob:
I am deeply saddened to report that my good friend and long time HSTA/MSTA member Chuck Headrick passed away Tuesday. Chuck was member number 223 and supported the club as Florida State Director for several years. I first met Chuck and his future wife Francis when they befriended myself and my girlfriend at the first STAR at Beaver Lake State Park near Rogers, AR. This STAR was a camping event and a torrential rain flooded our tent the first night. Chuck and Francis kindly welcomed us into their dry van for the night! We have been friends ever since. We have ridden together at many STARs since then and I have stayed at Chuck and Francis' place in Titusville many times for Daytona Bike week.

RIP Chuck.

STLTHMSTA:
Very sorry to hear that. He must make it a habit to take folks under his wing. He welcomed me into his riding group when he realized I had ridden to the event by myself. Sorry I can't remember which event (they're running together these days) but it was in the SE about '99-'00.
Rest In Peace old friend, the world could use more like you.  TM

RIDEMYST:
A great guy, he will be missed. -JEP-

Didn't have the pleasure of knowing him, sounds like it was my loss. RIP

(Those pictures from STAR in Marietta look like a spot on OH26 just north of Marietta at one of the historic Mail Pouch barns, across the street at the former Beihls store and one of the nearby covered bridges.)
