Yes, we spent the night in Prescott.

in CA, Palomar Mt Rd, Kern River road great roads with spectacular twisties. And CA 190 through Seqouia NF unbeliveable twisties!

I agree, I think Californian's must take their roads and scenery for granted. I know Arkansas is loved by many motorcyclists but I often think because there is nothing to see
but walls of trees so they concentrate on the curvy road and their riding.....but in CA the same roads as Arkansas have jaw dropping scenery just around the next curve and it is enjoyably
distracting so much so that the riding skills do seem to suffer a bit.
Still I've always greatly enjoyed my trips out there. I hope you all continue to do so, but be careful.

About 20 miles of lane splitting on the 5 and 405 was kinda intense. First time for any real lane splitting for me. Most drivers gaves us plenty room but not all!
