Title: Veterans Day ride
Post by: Buckeye56 on November 08, 2015, 10:44:47 AM
So the weather is looking good for a ride on Veterans Day. We will be going top Peggy Sue’s ETA of Noon. Columbus folks can meet at the United Dairy Framers store on the corner of Morse and Cherry Bottom Roads. Stand up at 10 AM (http://RideMSTA.com/mstaforums/x-apple-data-detectors://0).[/size]Bill

Enjoy and have a slice of pie for me.

I was out for a ride last weekend and stopped at a new place (to me) for lunch, Spearman's Restaurant in Milford OH (junction of US62 & US36). I think Coach, Byran or one of the other Columbus area folks mentioned it a while back. Small place (an old gas/service station) but the food was good, and the pie looked yummy but wasn't going to fit in my tummy. Told them I'll have to stop by again just for pie :)

It was a great lunch ride.  Bill led us on a nice loop and we arrived at Peggy Sue's around noon.  The temp remained on the cool side even after the sun broke through the clouds around 11.  There were around 10 of us so it was a good turnout.  :-)

Thank you Bill for leading us on a fun route. The weather wasn't bad, especially after the fog lifted. Road conditions were good. The food was tasty, especially the pie, and the friends were the best part.
