We have two RTE every month (3 this month) here in Florida. Ours are listed (and other States) list their rides on this sites calendar section and on Facebook pages. -JEP-

Jim,

I assumed since this was posted in the Nevada section (and the poster is from there) that the question was about that area, not throughout all of MSTA.

Yeah I saw that after I posted but decided to leave it as the calendar is used often for local rides. -JEP-

It's a cloudy 60° day with clouds  and a slim chance of rain here in Laughlin, Nv

There are bikes parked outside my office window. I can only hope they live near campus and have a short commute. Especially the Grom, because there's no way it's powering heated gear or grips!

On the radio this morning one DJ mentioned seeing a MC being ridden, and it was a similar 10-15 degrees. I run heated seats in the car and wear a heavy coat.  My days of riding in sub 50 degrees is over. Maybe I'll get heated gear eventually.

It’s 29 right now at 6pm and they are saying accumulation of snow tomorrow night, BUT.....

Long term forecast says it will be 66 in a week!

Don’t think my constitution will be able to take it.  I’ve been in hibernation mode for so long that sunstroke is a distinct possibility.  😳

We have been getting rain all day and some snow at times.  Glad for the rain and not all snow, as it was predicted snow, or 10-15 inches.  But, it is not over for tonight, as it is 8:40pm in Minnesota right now.

We are busy working on bikes for the snow removal.

Steve,
I have had and ridden with heated gear... well for many many years. AND since I moved to NC I use it much more! It extends my riding days. I to don’t ride when it’s as cold as you mentioned. It’s just not fun!
