But fair is fair, I'm as good as registered myself.  Can't wait.  TM

Just to let everyone know, King bed rooms are filling up.  Still plenty of double Queens.  We got one of the last Kings today.  They said there is 50-60 rooms already booked for our group.

We will see you when the Minnesota snow melts.

i am registered for STAR, but Anita will not be able to join me this time, I have not yet booked a room, and was wondering if anyone needed a roommate ? Non Smoker, Non Drinker, Snores Quietly if at all. I will probably be booking a room shortly (by end of Feb) unless I hear from someone beforehand.

Trail of Tears State Park is probably the closest campground, but there are some RV sites closer to the hotel.

BikeJunkie1013,

I have a campsite reserved already at the Trail of Tears State Park. We don't have many campers in the MSTA, but I still do it. I plan on arriving Thursday night prior to the event and staying until the following Thursday. I'll be at the Lake Boutin campground (tent camper)...there's another campground in the park for RV folks.

We are looking at the Cape RV and Campground a little distance to headquarters (7 mins) but big spots and a small pond.
And I can unload bikes from the toyhauler with out riding into the pond  :helpme:

I'm more of a state park kind of guy, but if you're "camping", great! I wouldn't mind a toy hauler at some point.
Alas, the picture that comes up in Google Maps for Cape Camping and RV doesn't look like my kind of place. It's rows of RVs in a open field with no shade. I hope they have something that looks better than that.

I am registered and have a room with two beds.  If anyone wants to share the room/cost, send me an email.  Will be traveling from NC with Brick.   Scott

I gave them my email address on Feb. 12 when I reserved a room, and got an email confirmation, number and all the details within minutes.

Minnesota snow is melting!  Saw a few bikes yesterday, riding on the sand covered roads.  Didn't look like fun with snow melting and running across the road.  I can only imagine what the bike looks like after seeing what our Ford Edge looked like after driving in that mess.
