Tomorrow is the 25th annual Last (Big) Ride of the Year. It's an annual RTE to Stockton, AL started by some of the IBA guys, but has evolved into a more inclusive event. Show up at the Stagecoach Cafe for lunch and hang in the parking lot to ogle the bikes and see old friends. I know there'll be some MSTA guys there, and I want to be there. Alas, I find myself with an opportunity to earn a few shekels which will go towards a week's worth of camping and riding next summer. But with a relatively warm ride down for the 25th iteration of the ride, I know I'll be kicking myself for not passing on the work call.

I've gone 4 or 5 years and it's usually a good time. I had nearby hotel reservations for this year but as the date got closer so did the uptick of Covid so I decided to cancel. With the weather like it is, it looks like a great year to ride, unlike some past years when it was in the low 40's and rain! -JEP-
