Travelin...

Gah - it's 800+ miles the ugly way from here to there.  If'n there's any chance I'm going it'll be with the Monster in the back of the truck.  Not slabbin 800 miles on a Monster.  Not over 40 years old anyway.  10 years ago I may have tried it . . .

Need to see which is more practical - ramps and a chock for the truck (and some tiedowns) or getting the FJR fixed.  Maybe I'll run the FJR into the shop this weekend.  it's beyond basic Air - Fuel - Spark problem; something in a sensor somewhere and I'm whupped trying to find it. If I get the FJR online, then it's game on.

You're experiencing a little of what I often face. Admittedly, I have more choices than just 2 bikes. But if something breaks or needs attention, it sometimes just gets pushed off to the side and ignored for some period of time. If something is broken, there's no need to get too excited about getting it resolved when there are still running bikes. Right?

I need to be more prompt about getting bike issues resolved as soon as they are identified.

I had a starting to break down ST1300. Sold it cheap as-is. Made sure the purchaser knew what all was wrong and will need attention. He was fine with it, and I got some cash and freed up space in the garage. 😁

That's a long haul from Kansas, even on an FJR (I hate the slab).

Hope you can make it.
