Title: New member in South Louisiana

Hello and thanks for the add!  Thrilled to be part of the group and hope to meetup with some fellow riders. I'm a relatively new rider, haven't ridden in 35 years. After much debate I decided on a 21' Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX so I could do some weekend touring and moto-camping. So far I'm very pleased with the bike.  I've done one 4 day trip that was a blast and eager to do more, including attending some of the MSTA events in 2022.

Welcome! We have an outstanding assortment of regional events with 2 in April, 2 in May, the national rally in June, 2 in July, 2 in August, 3 in September, and 2 in October. Take a look at the "calendar" link in the banner at the top of this screen for a complete schedule.

Welcome Brian. There are a few of us in South Louisiana. I'll send you an invite when we do a lunch ride. Not sure when that will be with this crazy weather! I got chased home today by an unexpected thunder storm.

Thanks Carl and Geoffrey.  I plan on attending STAR in Cape Girardeau and another rally in the fall.  I'll check out the Dan Clark Safety Program.

Welcome Brian, and glad you found us. Never ridden in Louisiana (but did go to Mardi Gras some 20+ years ago). Hope to see you at an event this year. Keep the rubber side down and have fun.

Appreciate all the welcome notes from everyone. 

I do plan on following the river north in June to Cape Girardeau and look forward to meeting and riding with folks there!
