Thanks to Syd for his years running this event, including the move from Marlinton/Snowshoe area to Lewisburg.

And thanks to Chris for taking up the reigns and handling this event. One of my favorites, always a challenge with the weather and distance from home, but very rewarding as the usual last trip of the riding season.

Planning to return for 2022.

I haven't been on the Forum in quite a while, and I'd like to thank everyone for the kind words! coordinating this event has been a high point for me for years, but "only the rocks live forever". I also hive plans to attend again this year, and will be willing to assist in any way possible. We are very fortunate to have an outstanding guy like Chris to show us the way forward!I hope to see everyone on the road, Syd

It appears the whole line of text is not set as a link. I copied the whole thing
https://reg.planetReg.com/Fall Colors JFF
and it worked just fine. Good luck.

The link works if you copy/paste the entire line... the spaces are what confused the forum software.

FJR PILOT - Thanks for the comment. As people commented later, the forum didn't handle the cut & paste from the registration site. It's fixed now.  :)

Does anyone have a source or link for detailed info on bridge/road closures due to flooding earlier this year?

I tried a Google search, and problems were reported in the Gauley - Beckley WV area, but no specific info.  For example, I found https://floodlist.com/america/usa/floods-west-virginia-august-2022

I'm looking for stuff that might cause major detours.  For example, a tip like 20 being closed between Hinton and Sandstone.

Maybe I worry too much.  My Versys handles u-turns nicely and I'm good with route change-ups on the fly.  This search not worth a lot of effort - I'll ride what I find - but if someone knows of a DOT list closures that would be useful.

Just wondering what conditions are like west of Lewisburg.
