Post by: normkern on May 05, 2021, 08:13:31 AM
The STAR 2021 Routes website is online! 15 road and 6 ADV rides to choose from. Check out the EZ Route finder here! http://star21.flybyweek.com/ (http://star21.flybyweek.com/)

Norm,
I clicked on the link (good), clicked on "Show me all the routes" (good), and then clicked on All Routes in a Zip. That's when I got a 404 error.
I downloaded the routes individually, and that worked beautifully.

Seems odd that STAR 2021 routes would have flybyweek in the link...but it all seemed to work. I followed the steps that Geoffrey used and both the PDF & GPX links downloaded a Zip file that looks good.

One odd thing, on the page with map 2 (http://star21.flybyweek.com/02.html) it shows a 2nd map below a heading "02 BrdgRideGorge 7.5 route segment" that appears to be the New River Gorge bridge route (to go under the bridge), but the route does not go to that area.

Norm used his flyby website to host the STAR routes, rather than set up a separate website.  He has since posted a link that says nothing about “flyby”.
