The new season's approaching quickly. I wonder if we'll suffer whip-lash going from near-Zero temps to 50 somethings in short order. Average High for SE Michigan in March is 43F...average mind you. By April (3 weeks away), we should see 50F as the 4/1 avg high, ending the month around 60F.
Can't wait:).

Well JT, The way this winter has gone I think it's going to be a very late spring by the time all the snow melts. What has me more concern are the road conditions. I read in the news the other day there is 4 1/2 feet of frost in the ground. Once it does warm up and that frost starts to come up our roads will really fall apart.
Until the road conditions improve it may be a while before I take my bike out unless I go straight to Ohio and enjoy the roads down there. :'(

You may not be any better off here in Ohio...the roads are terrible. Potholes everywhere plus grit a foot deep on the roads.

Jay, those conditions are just another reason why we ride Super Tenere!

Not with the stock tires that are on it...another winter like this and I'll have to get a proper dual sport for spring.

Jon, I'm in agreement.
This may present me with the right excuse to justify another bike from the boss! ;)

I'm riding the KLR to work tomorrow....No More Waiting...

Snow forecasted tonight, I hope they keep the salt off the roads.
