Yea, John Boyd is the first one to get his registration in to me.
Ok... we have one perhaps two rooms available at the Big Lynn Lodge so call 800-654-5232 and reserve a room for the event now! Then go on line here: http://msta-se.com/BLynn/ (http://msta-se.com/BLynn/) and print, fill out your registration and mail it to me!

Since the Big Lynn Lodge is full, changed our plans from trailering/camping to staying at Huskins Court and Cottages on Rt. 221 at Pineola NC. They're about a 30 minute ride on the BRP to Big Lynn Lodge. They have room to park trailers, so we will trailer and ride the Strom.

So I don't have to grill out or bring in a caterer. Works very well for me. So if you want to come... there are rooms at other places kind of near but the BLL is booked. You can arrange with the BLL to enjoy your meals with us just call the BLL and they can make it happen.
This year in addition to the fabulous Alligators Blues Band Ronnie Ray blues harmonica will be entertaining us Friday night. Also Anne Marie will be providing free chair messages (tips appreciated).
I'm sure Helga will have done her usual outstanding job of collecting door prizes!
And well... The roads here can't be beat!

I'd love to come over to the Big Lynn Lodge, but of course, it's sold out. In previous years we had our local Ride For Kids event near the end of July, so it was a conflict. This year our RFK event has been moved to October, so I don't have that problem. However, I do have to be in town for some work Sunday morning and a family gathering Sunday afternoon. I've considered coming over and pitching my tent at Crabtree Meadows Campground just a few miles down the Blue Ridge Parkway. We'll see how things go as the week goes by.

Geoffrey yes the BLL is sold out BUT there are rooms at some of the three other closest hotels. Switzerland Inn, Skyline Lodge, and the Alpine. All three are 3 miles one way or the other from the BLL.I appreciate it. I've looked at the info for the overflow motels, and being in the mood I'm in right now, Crabtree Meadows seems to fit my budget better right now. Plus I rather enjoy it. I took advantage of your 'old' tent several nights going to and coming from Vermont.

My friend Dennis-Denny Gass has a room at BLL for this weekend, arriving Thur. AKAIK he doesn't have a roommate. Give him a shout on FB if you would like to share a room with him. I can hook you up in a conversation if you like.

If you are staying in one of the overflow hotels you will be required to pay a nominal fee for your tickets.
Be sure to remember to bring your ticket with you to meal time. No ticky no eaty!
