Well this is a motorcycle classification that I hve never heard of before. I just went to see how much they were asking for the XSR900 and find it in a new category too. Starting at $9,400 is a great price. I still want a FJ09 however...

"Neo-retro" seems a bit redundant. A nice looking bike. You should buy both the XSR900 and the FJ09. I'm sure they'd give you a package price. Remember: dying with money in the bank is a sign of poor planning...

So is running out of money BEFORE you die......:)

I think more apropos would be "running out of money BEFORE you get to the nursing home"

I've always said I was on the "Last penny - Last breath" plan. Then I got a family.

I've often said i'd like to plan it so I spend my last buck just before I croak, much to the disappointment of a few folks. Hahahaha. Back to the Yammy, I really think the should have made an FJR900 instead of the FJ. Just my .02. TM

Tom,
The FJ09 IS listed right along with the FJR as a Sport Touring bike.
And if you have not ridden one... you should.

Yes, I understand that. But I was implying it should be more like a pint sized FJR, not an ADV wannabe. Not for me. However, I won't be buying anything any time soon so it doesn't matter, but a fella can dream. :) TM
