Looks a little like Dan Guerney's Alligator motorcycle.
From the article
"the digital dash changes depending on mood, ranging from white, through blue and pink and finally red."
WTF?  Haven't a clue who they are creating bikes for.
There is a great disturbance in the Honda Force.

You'd look good on that bike, Brick.  Hell, anyone would look good in comparison to that thing...

Maybe they're looking for product placement in a new Transformers movie.

As long as they keep making the ST1300, I think I'll be all right.  (The new FJR is pretty enticing, though.)

I visited the Honda tent at Daytona Bike Week. They had their usual line of dirt bikes and sport bikes. When I walked into the touring /cruiser bike area they had of course the Goldwing, a Valkarie or Rune or whatever they are calling it and then they showcased a whole line of bikes that looked an awful lot like the photo above. I think it's their CVX line? I try to understand design changes as market demands but who in the motorcycle market is buying these things?
They did have a ST1300 which was a mystery to me. I asked the Honda Rep why that was on display. His answer was Honda was still making the bike! I pointed out that it was a 2012 as that was the last year Honda made the bike.
I walked away shaking my head and wondering what has happened to Honda. -JEP-

It's so unidentifiable it might qualify as a moped in SC.  ;D
It definitely is butt ugly.

Yes, it was inspired by a 50cc - the CPI GTR:

The types and styles of bikes we love do not seem to resonate with our kids and grandkids. The OEMs are trying to find a way to entice them into buying a motorcycle. Like it or not, What you are looking at may be the future of our sport.

On the other hand, two of the women students on Buckeye Current, Ohio State's electric motorcycle race team,  just bought their first motorcycle. As far as I know, neither has anyone if their family who has ridden.

That kind of uncertainty makes me glad my livelihood doesn't depend on being able to predict the future!

I have to agree with Buckeye56.  Our idea of an ideal motorcycle is contrary to the other 99% of riders in the US plus the new generation of non-riders are a moving target that no one has yet to hit with any accuracy.   We see and observe sport models, sport tourers, and adventure bikes at our events so it easy to get a false impression of what the riding public wants.

I just checked the Honda accessories catalog and ordered the kevlar Catwoman suit to go with the bike.

I'm excited about the bike, someone told me the other day that my BMW R1200GS was the ugliest bike around.  No more.
