Title: Georgia Member Daniel Short injured

One of our Georgia MSTA members, Daniel Short, was in an accident last weekend.  Below is from his wife, Rosanne:


Daniel had a truck vs. motorcycle event yesterday (Saturday) around 1:30, I am afraid the truck won this round. He is the ICU at NEGA medical center in Gainesville and will be until after a second surgery to determine a plan to repair his femur Monday or Tue. Fortunately no Spinal, neck or head trauma, no internal organ damage, but multiple open  compound fractures on the left arm and leg.  Right now he can only have immediate family in to see him, but I will keep you posted on his recovery.

Damn, I hate that this has happened! Wishing Daniel a speedy recovery!
