Tom has died after a long series of strokes going back to the winter. Details of his memorial service and celebration of his life are not available yet. I will update when I have the info.

Some photos I was able to find of Tom in my archives are at http://cmh-moto.org/TomPics (http://cmh-moto.org/TomPics).

Oh my... This is so sad... I just got shivers reading this...
I had so much fun with Tom over the years in HSTA/MSTA. What a great guy.
The way he overcame his limitations to join us at rallies all over the USA was very inspirational to me.
He will be missed greatly. Godspeed Tom, may you be riding a bike somewhere...

His spirit of don't let it get you down, should be an inspiration to us all. We really shouldn't complain about anything knowing what he had gone through. Godspeed Thomas weather it be an ST (last bike I believe) or a Mini !! TM

Great photos. Tom always with a smile.

We will be headed south on Friday. Sorry to miss it.

I admired his ability to not let his health issues weigh him down. He lived life to the fullest, a role model for us all. He was my friend and I will miss him not riding sweep anymore.

I met Tom @ TriStar four years ago. His sprit was inspirational. I’m gonna miss seeing him at our MSTA Events.

Sounds like a great guy. I regret that I never met him. His member number is 134, making him the 5th longest active until his passing.

Sounds like a great memorial event, sorry I won't be able to make it. I wish I had known Tom better before his health issues started, but was glad to know him and spend some time with him.

I'd never known Tom before his health challenges started but I always found him to be good company and pleasant to chat with. I found it inspiring to see him continue to enjoy traveling with his friends, sporting about on backgrounds, no matter that he had to use 4 wheels, he and his fellow riders were enjoying it all just the same. Whenever my wife and I saw him he was enjoying life and travel as much as anyone could and he never seemed to make an issue of what he couldn't do, he just went with what he COULD do with more verve than many I know.
He is one of those people who, having spent a spare amount of time with, you seemed to feel like you knew for much longer and who made it clear by example if not in words that life is to be enjoyed and experienced with gusto and that can be done regardless of difficulties.
The world and our events will be poorer for his loss.

It was a very nice get together/service with lots of great stories about Tom. You could tell by the turnout and the smiles and laughter that he was really quite a guy, was loved by many, and will be missed by all.
I’m sure he has already tested his angels wings to find out just how fast he can go! Fast! Fast!
RIP Tom, you will live on in the stories forever.
